__NOTOC__ The Upgrades system in Aragon RSPS covers every crafting recipe used to improve gear, weapons, shields, and accessories. Upgrades are accessed via Ctrl+U in-game.
Open the full upgrade interface with Ctrl+U in-game. It shows all available recipes, materials, and current success rates.
Bad Luck Mitigation (BLM)
Every upgrade with less than 100% success rate uses the Bad Luck Mitigation system:

| On failure | +2% added to that recipe's success rate permanently for your account |
| On success | The BLM bonus for that recipe resets to 0% |
| Example | A 35% recipe that fails 10 times becomes 55% on the 11th attempt |
| Safe materials | Only the final listed item is consumed on failure — all other materials are safe unless noted |
Always check which item is consumed on failure before attempting. For Apex gear, the Owner (U) item is consumed — all other materials are safe.

Royal Shards come from breaking any Crown at the Anvil. Godly Dust drops in ::godlyzone — requires Godly Donator rank ($150,000 bonds claimed).

Upgrade Tips
- Use Ctrl+U in-game to check exact requirements — materials may change with patches
- BLM stacks — a 10% recipe failed 20 times is now 50%. Never abandon a chain
- Save Royal Shards — multiple Apex recipes need them simultaneously. Farm Crowns first
- Stockpile Nex Blood — all 4 Dark Nexus recipes need 1,000 each
- Kerberos Shards come from breaking crystals — always keep a supply for mid-late game recipes
