__NOTOC__ The Starter Guide walks you through everything from your first login to unlocking raids and beyond. Follow each step in order — they build on each other.

Quick Links: Commands • Trophies • Slayer • Bosses • Raids • Perk System • Items • Progression

Step 1: Claim Your Starter Rewards

The first thing to do on a fresh account is claim your free rewards.

  1. Type ::giftcode in chat
  2. Enter code coll — press Enter
  3. Enter code youtube — press Enter
  4. Open your Starter Keys at ::chests
  5. Check your Quest Tab — the Adventure Tasks inside give solid early rewards

Step 2: Vote Every Day

Voting is the best free action in the game. Do it the moment you log in — takes 30 seconds.

RewardDetails
15× Godly KeysSecond-best-in-slot gear chance — open at ::chests
2× VouchersExtra vote bonus rewards
Vote Scroll buff+15 minute activity booster
Vote Streak milestonesDay 7: Eternal Casket · Day 14: 5× Goodiebag Picks · Day 30: Apex Casket

Vote at aragonrsps.com/vote (https://aragonrsps.com/vote) on both TopG and Rulocus.

Vote streak rewards are among the best free progression items in the game. Never miss a day.

Step 3: Grind the Starter Zone

Grind the area where you spawned.

  • Open all Starter Keys at ::chests
  • Work through Adventure Tasks in the Quest Tab
  • Dissolve junk items at the Dissolve Manager at ::home for quick cash
  • Use Ctrl+Z to view Zone requirements — each zone requires a kill count (KC) to unlock

Check ::bis before spending anything — it shows the Best-in-Slot gear for your combat style so you know exactly what to aim for.

Step 4: Cursed Brothers

Your first major gear and weapon upgrade source.

  • Use Protect from Melee when fighting Dharok — he hits very hard without it
  • Focus on weapons and gear from their drop tables
  • Elite Cursed Brothers unlock at 500 Barrows Point Tokens — better loot, worth doing ASAP
  • Completing the Cursed Brothers collection log is required for the Iron Trophy

Step 5: Zone Progression

Zones are different from regular monsters — each requires a specific Kill Count (KC) to unlock.

  • Press Ctrl+Z to view zone requirements and your current KC progress
  • Work through zones in order — each one unlocks better gear and content
  • Exodia is a key mid-game zone: reach 30,000 Exodia KC to unlock Hero Guilds
  • Instances can be started for solo grinding — each instance lasts 5 minutes, and is AoE

Instances are AoE areas — use AoE weapons to maximize kill speed.

Step 6: Aura Hunter Minigame

Farm the Aura Hunter Minigame to upgrade your auras.

  • Entry cost: 1,000,000 Aragon Taxbags per entry
  • Kill the mobs and collect aura drops
  • Always wear your latest (best) aura to reduce the DR requirement for the next aura drop
  • Max combat aura tier is the Shadow Aura — auras that drop after Shadow are cosmetics only
  • Completing the Aura Hunter log is required for the Steel Trophy

Step 7: Hero Guilds

Unlocked after 30,000 Exodia kills. Teleport to the Hero Guild area and kill mobs for Prayer Scrolls.

  • You can kill mobs at the teleport location or use an Instance Ticket for a private instance
  • 4 different Prayer Scrolls are available — each NPC drops a different one
  • Right-click NPCs to check their drop table before you start killing — don't waste time on the wrong mob
  • Completing the Hero Guild log unlocks the Quiver Minigame

The 4 Prayer Scrolls from Hero Guilds:

Prayer ScrollCombat Bonus
Malevolence+30% Melee Attack, Strength & Defence
Desolation+30% Ranged Attack, Strength & Defence
Affliction+30% Magic Attack, Strength & Defence
Ancient Precision+10% Critical Damage & +10% Critical Strike Chance

Step 8: Slayer

Slayer is the backbone of all progression in Aragon. Start as early as possible and never stop.

Slayer Upgrade Tokens are untradeable and only drop while actively on-task. Every kill off-task is wasted token income. Always be assigned a task before grinding.

How to Start

  1. Speak to the Slayer Master at ::home
  2. Grab the Slayer Gem — right-click it for instant task options:
  3. * Get-Task — get a new task without navigating menus
  4. * Teleport — go directly to your task monster (outside instances)
  5. * Activate — check progress, cancel task

  • Earn Slayer Tokens every kill on-task → use them to craft Normal Slayer gear
  • Check crafting recipes with Ctrl+U → Slayer
  • Earn Slayer Points per task → spend in the Slayer Shop (Imbue Scroll = 3,000 pts)

Blood Slayer (200 Slayer Points to unlock)

  • Mobs drop: Bloodbags + Blood Slayer Tokens + Blood Slayer Points when killed on-task
  • 10,000 Bloodbags = 1 Blood Slayer Key → open at ::chests — one of the best early-game money makers
  • Click the Blood Slayer Perk Tree to spend Blood Slayer Points on passive bonuses
  • Note: Blood Slayer Perk Tree bonuses only apply to Blood Slayer monsters — not universally
  • Blood Slayer Helm gives 2× damage on-task; imbued version adds +50% DR

Boss Slayer (2,000 Blood Slayer Points to unlock)

  • Click the Slayer Skill icon to open the interface
  • Boss Slayer tasks count toward the global boss death spawn counter
  • Gear requires Boss Slayer tokens crafted on-task
  • Boss Slayer is required before you can unlock Galactic Slayer

  • 6 exclusive monsters only attackable while on-task: Zorblit, Kraggles, Vexmite, Snorvak, Blorbit, Skraxling
  • Drops materials needed to craft Galactic Slayer gear and weapons (second best-in-slot)
  • Tasks grant 45% increased Slayer Points
  • Get the free Galactic Gem Slayer from the Slayer Shop for remote task management

Step 9: Quiver Minigame

Unlocked after completing the Hero Guild collection log.

  • Quivers are worn in the arrow slot and provide passive healing (Soulsplit effect)
  • Recommended: use Deathtouch Darts (obtainable from Daily Donator boss drops) for fast kills
  • Each kill drops one random essence out of four types (Crimson, Azure, Verdant, Solar)
  • Rare drop: Toolbox (combine 2,500× of each essence into one)
  • The top-tier Fallen Quiver gives a passive Soulsplit effect — heals you when you deal damage

Do the Quiver Minigame during Double Drop WoG (Well of Goodwill) for maximum essence gain — see the WoG section below.

Step 10: Perk System

See full guide: Perk System

Unlocked at Mithril Trophy. Complete contracts across the server to earn Perk Points for permanent account-wide upgrades.

  • Speak to the Perk Contractor at ::home
  • Use ::perks to browse all available perks
  • Grab the free Perk Contract Scroll from the Perk Contractor so you don't need to revisit him every time
  • Contracts are repeatable and scale from easy to endgame content
