Royal Shards are an endgame crafting material obtained by breaking any Crown at the Anvil. They are required in many high-end upgrade recipes including Apex Gear, Crown of the Gods, and Owner (U) gear.

Breaking a Crown at the Anvil always yields exactly 1× Royal Shard, regardless of Crown type.

Royal Shards are consumed in many endgame recipes:

Tips
- Farm Royal Shards early — they are needed across nearly every endgame recipe
- Duplicate Crowns are worth breaking for Shards rather than selling if you already have what you need
- Stock at least 5 Shards before starting any Apex crafting session — multiple recipes run concurrently
