The Anvil is a utility station located at the home area of Aragon. Players can use it to break down (dismantle) items into components, attachments, or currency — this is commonly referred to as "breaking" an item.
The Anvil can be accessed by walking up to it and clicking, or by interacting with Thok, the pet collector NPC who stands nearby.
Break Interface
When you interact with the Anvil, a dedicated Break Interface opens. It displays all break-able items — including ones you do not own (which appear slightly transparent). Hovering over any item shows exactly what you would receive for breaking it.
How It Works
To break an item:
- Have the item in your inventory or bank.
- Click the Anvil (or right-click → Break).
- Select the item you wish to break from the interface.
- Confirm — the item is permanently destroyed and you receive the listed components.
Breaking an item is irreversible. The original item is consumed and cannot be recovered.

Crowns

Breaking any Crown yields 1× Royal Shard. Royal Shards are used in many high-end upgrade recipes such as the Crown of the Gods, Apex Gear, and more.

Owner Gear Dismantling
A secondary Anvil near the home area is dedicated to breaking down Owner gear into Owner Attachments, which can then be used to craft new Owner equipment via the Upgrade Interface.
